The Arc of Cumberland and Perry Counties (CPARC) is hiring a full time Vocational Program Specialist to work out of our Center for Industrial Training facility in Mechanicsburg. Responsibilities The Vocational Program Specialist actively engages trainees and their teams and will monitor the trainee's progress in meeting their employment goals. This team member is responsible for the development, implementation, and documentation of assessments, quarterly reviews, goal plans and other related paperwork. The Vocational Program Specialist serves as an as an advocate for trainees, assuring they are receiving necessary services and maximum benefits from the program. The position has a caseload of up to 45 adults with various disabilities. Benefits Full time position starting at $15.67 per hour. CPARC also offers an excellent benefits package which includes health, dental, and vision insurance for full time staff (there is no cost for employee only health coverage), 3 weeks of vacation during your first year of employment, life insurance, long term disability, and a generous retirement plan. Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in a human services field plus one year working with a disabled population; or, Associates degree in a human services field with three years of experience (Includes volunteer experience and college internships). About CPARC The mission of CPARC is to empower, inspire, and educate people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their families, and the community. The Center for Industrial Training (CIT) is CPARC's vocational training program.
