Baylor LPN starting at $39/hr!! Masonic Villages of Pennsylvania - Elizabethtown Campus - is immediately hiring for a End of Life Care LPN to work on our Evergreen Unit! Currently hiring for: Baylor Weekend working Days, 6am - 6:15pm Saturdays & Sundays As a End of Life Care LPN, you will carry out our Mission of Love by ensuring the care of our residents is provided in a safe, caring, timely, and appropriate manner by maintaining the appropriate competencies and skills through continuing education that encompasses all of these areas. This also includes providing support to residents, families and caregivers by showing empathy and sensitivity during emotional times with the goal of enhancing the quality of life. Our End of Life Care LPN is responsible for the following: Provides Practical Nursing care for our residents in a safe, caring, timely and appropriate manner to assist each resident in attaining their highest potential in their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, within the scope of practice and Masonic Village policies and procedures. Monitors nursing care by visiting residents routinely to ensure continuity and continual evaluation of care as related to the IDCP and physician's orders. Provides direct resident care and transports residents to activities and appointments as time permits. Performs glucometer readings, EKG's and other testing as needed. Assists with direct resident care including bathing, feeding, making beds, toileting and transporting residents to appointments and activities. Maintains compliance with yearly education requirements in accordance with Masonic Village policies. Assists in the development of the plan of care. What You Have: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Current LPN licensure by the PA State Board of Nursing. Previous long term care experience OR end of life care/hospice experience required. CPR certification (prior to or upon employment). Strong leadership skills. Ability to be flexible and adaptable. Basic computer knowledge required.
