Dynamic Opportunity ~ Our full time Access Scheduler provides screening, coordinating and scheduling Intake appointments to individuals and families in the Outpatient Department. The Guidance Center ~ is a primary mental health support agency, providing compassionate, professional care for individuals and families with mental health needs in the greater Cumberland County, NJ area. For more than 50 years, our non-profit organization of professionals, doctors, nurses, therapists, and support staff, has assisted the community in the diagnosis and treatment of all types of mental illness. What does this position look like ~ The Access Scheduler provides the d epartment system admission and orientation. Follow up with referral sources. Assists with department transfers. Responsible for data collection and processing. Provide clinicians with information related to the Intake. Prepares statistical reports. Participates in Outpatient Case Review and staff meetings. Coordinate services with the billing department for verification of insurance coverage. Assist clinicians with follow up, correspondence and closing records. What you need to apply ~ Bachelor's degree in a Human Service field from an accredited institution. Good communication skills. Spanish speaking preferred. Computer proficiency and use of electronic record systems. Knowledge of community resources. Valid automobile driver's license with MVR which meets agency standards.
