Job Summary: As a Field Market Development Manager, you will be both directly responsible for and well rewarded for the ongoing success of the company through one of the most exciting, influential and rewarding positions!! You will be involved in the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy that ensures alignment of Customer and Prospect needs with the tremendous capabilities of the Midstate Industrial Maintenance family of companies. In addition to profitable revenue growth with core accounts, additional measurements of success include the expansion of our vertical market segment client base as well as the extension of company reach into new geographies. The chosen {FMD} candidate will be a member of an elite team that supports the execution of the Market Development Manager's {MDM}strategy and multi-year business plan. This is a very attractive and financially rewarding position that also offers a defined path to career growth through the successful development of profitable revenue growth and vertical market share gains. Essential Characteristics and Key Responsibilities: High aptitude strategic thinker with a demonstrated history of success. Inquisitiveness with a keen ability to research, learn and apply findings. Excellent communication and relationship development skills. Develop and maintain strong relationships at multiple levels within a customer organization. Capable of developing and executing a plan that drives constant contact and influence with existing customers and key prospects at multiple levels throughout an organization. Able to identify, pursue, and capture profitable revenue opportunities. Ability to grow one or more levels into the Mid-State Industrial Organization Essential Duties Prepare sales presentations or proposals to explain service specifications. Consistently and accurately provide sales and other reports as required. Attend sales or trade meetings as required to gain information and contacts. Consult with clients to resolve any post-sale issues. This position requires travel to various client worksites within the United States. Overnight travel may be required at times. Skills & Qualifications 10 + Years of experience in Sales and Maintenance in the following areas: Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Renewable Industry Bachelor's degree is preferred Prior Sales or Marketing is a plus. Exceptional work ethic and drive to succeed. Execution and results mindset General knowledge of heavy industrial markets is preferred. Intermediate computer skills required in Microsoft Office. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, exciting, and demanding environment. Other Information This is an exempt position. This position reports to the Market Development Manager .
