Description:
The Sales Support Specialist role supports the Sales Team by communicating with our customers via email/phone to take in orders. The SSS will verify Inventory availability and then coordinate the shipping of this product with the freight company and the facilities warehouse. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Professionally handle incoming requests/orders from customers and ensure such are handled promptly and thoroughly. Maintain positive relationship with existing customers and build relationships with new customers. Provide, both customers and company, quality service and support in a variety of areas, including but not limited to, pricing information, order entry, order tracking, logistics, production workflow and sample follow up. Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making; handling issues in the best interest of both customer and company. Provide administrative support to Sales team to maintain and grow the business. Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer's experience. Perform other duties as assigned. WORK EXPERIENCE & PERSONAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction Demonstrated passion for excellence with respect to treating and caring for customers Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing Ability to handle complaints and unpleasant customers Strong decision making, prioritizing and analytical abilities Strong attention to detail Excellent listening/communication skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overtime when needed Possess a strong work ethic and team player mentality Ability to handle and maintain confidential information Well versed in MS Office programs (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) Self-motivated and ability to work alone EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS High School Diploma and/or Equivalent 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred Equal Opportunity Employer.
