POSITION: Job Estimator REPORTS TO: Motor Shop Manager LOCATION: Fresno, CA SALARY: $22.00 to $26.00 per hour, DOE Company Overview: Electric Motor Shop & Supply, Inc. is part of the Caglia Family of Companies. Established in 1913, Electric Motor Shop & Supply is a premier electrical contractor, motor repair shop and electrical supply wholesale distributor. The Electric Motor Shop's state of the art repair facility offers all levels of motor and pump repair, service and rewinding, with 24-hour service availability. Our supply division has one of the largest stocking warehouses in Central California. We also have a fully licensed professional contracting division capable of providing service for small to large industrial projects, including custom panel design and installation, PLC programming, AC drives, and transformer installations. BASIC FUNTIONS: Working with department manager and supervisor regarding jobs in process to locate parts needed by customers. To help customers' needs for replacement parts on existing equipment. Principal Duties & Responsibilities : Help locating special parts for repair jobs. Must be able to locate difficult parts for jobs. Work on assigned special projects. Price out and quote repair jobs, new parts and special projects. Handle after hours call duty as Size and order gearboxes. Assist in quoting jobs. Assist in sourcing parts . Assist at the counter helping customers as needed. Neatness in personal appearance and the ability to establish and maintain good relations with customers by providing courteous, efficient and professional service is a must. Required and Preferred Qualifications (Skills, Education and Experience) Knowledge of electrical and mechanical power transmission products. Experience estimating repair jobs of electric motors, gearboxes, pumps and hoists. Excellent communication skills. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work under minimal or no supervision. Good time management. Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Clean driving record and willing to participate in drug/alcohol/background screening.
