Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) has a need for a professional to join our organization as an early-career Intelligence Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and summarizing data from various sources in support of global monitoring and analysis of physical security threats to our client and their personnel/travelers and assets in all countries of operation. The incumbent must possess a high degree of operational and information security awareness, discretion, and confidentiality. This position will work as part of a team to ensure the Global Watch Desk is staffed 24/7.The individual will monitor fluid and dynamic safety and security incidents globally ranging anywhere from natural disasters to terrorism, to complex geopolitical developments, with the goal of evaluating and escalating relevant reporting to regional security teams charged with securing personnel, facilities, and business operations. Team members also support the executive protection function, and route internal inquires and incident reports to the appropriate parties. The individual will work with a strong team of other capable and motivated peers, and colleagues with extensive prior experience in security and intelligence.This position will be located in Rahway, New Jersey, with a major Fortune 100 client.Essential requirements of the position include, but are not limited to: The ability to actively monitor situational awareness systems, including open source media, third-party provider information/analysis subscriptions, and other sources to support the client's threat awareness and forecasting Academic or practical experience with risk intelligence analysis Strong familiarity with international security and geopolitical dynamics globally Previous experience with foreign environments and related security issues, whether through travel study, or work Proven ability to write effectively and professionally in clear, concise English Demonstrated proficiency in various Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Excel, Power Point, Ability and willingness to work shift/rotation based schedules outside normal business hours with the ability to work independently at times based on shift Ability to work collaboratively on a team, fostering communication and continuity among shift mates Proven ability to apply critical thinking to evaluate a given security issue or environment, and understand when a situation is escalating Fluency and comfort with verbal communications Able to cope with stressful situations, with a calm, business-like demeanor, and a logical thinker The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in a related field of study, or five years of progressively complex analysis or threat monitoring work or any combination of skills, knowledge, and ability may be substituted.Preferred requirements for the position include: Knowledge and specialization in one or more regions of the world, particularly outside of the United States, with regard to local security and/or political issues Academic studies in international relations/security Knowledge of, or experience with, security Proficiency in reading/speaking a foreign This is an early-career position and as such, compensation will be commensurate based on experience.
