Job Title: Service Manager / Midland Texas Reports to: Don Ledwidge Job Description: The Service Manager position at Zeeco will spend 40% of their time traveling to various customer sites for Zeeco's various product divisions. The primary job responsibility for the Service Manager will be to supervise and oversee the Permian Field Service Team through installations, start-ups, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Zeeco's combustion products. When not in the field, this position will work at the ZEECO Midland office. Job Duties: The Service Manager should have organization and problem solving skills, including but not limited to the following: Manage operations in the field daily with little to no supervision Communicate both professionally and effectively with personnel ranging from product managers to skilled labor Supervise and manage contractors and other personnel while on site or in the field Manage daily technician scheduling Follow written and verbal instructions to ensure Zeeco systems are installed and operating correctly Start-up, operation and troubleshooting of all Zeeco combustion systems Create and submit detailed reports Effectively communicate with customers on service requests Must have excellent conflict resolution skills Be available nights and weekends by phone when necessary Must communicate issues / needs with division manager Visiting remote locations where other Field Service Technicians are placed. Oversee all field processes and procedures for optimal efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or comparable field experience Ability to travel a minimum of 40% Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to manage workflow and work crews on various startups Must possess technical and mechanical skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings, piping utilities from P&ID's, instrumentation, welding and electrical wiring Must be able to troubleshoot and report back for assistance if necessary Job Posted by ApplicantPro
