Responsibilities: A Product Inforce Analyst ready to make an impact by calculating and coordinating reinsurance settlements with various Annuity, Life, and Health reinsurers. There are multiple opportunities to enhance financial procedures and calculations. This position will work closely with the Annuity Product Development Team at SILAC. Individuals in this role will have the opportunity to work with multiple departments and gain experience in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment. You will need to understand Annuities, as well as be familiar with Life & Health Reinsurance treaties and implement contractual agreements into monthly settlements. Additionally, manage and generate product experience data for financial and regulatory reporting. Reconcile Annuity, Life, and Health data and ensure claim and premium trends are accurate and consistent. Support the creation of automated financial analysis reports as well as maintain existing analysis reports. Assist in communication with reinsurance partners, auditors, consultants, and regulatory-agency personnel when necessary. Report to and perform other work or projects as directed by the Management. Requirements: Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Detail-oriented with ability to be accurate and complete tasks correctly. Ability to plan, prioritize, and meet time standards. Ability to research inconsistencies and errors then identify and resolve. Ability to manipulate and comprehend large amounts of data and complex calculations. Ability to work in a team as well as independently. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively. Experience with Individual Life and Health lines of insurance business. Knowledge of Annuities and their structures. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related field. 3-5 years' work experience in finance or accounting for an insurance company preferred; or any combination of education, professional training, or work experience that demonstrates ability to perform the job.
