If your answer is yes to both of these questions, the following job might be right for you.Walton's Sheet Metal Shop Laborer will assist with various tasks associated with fabricating sheet metal ductwork. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Trim, file, grind, deburr and buff metal surfaces Assemble duct work using air-power-driven tools Wrap duct for shipment Load ductwork onto trucks Maintain a clean, safe shop work area May assist with weld area tasks - hammering, chipping, and grinding workpieces to cut, bend, and straighten metal KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: High school diploma or GED preferred Reliable transportation Sheet metal shop experience is helpful, we are willing to train Good listening skills, willing to ask questions Possess basic math skills Able to use hand and power tools properly and safely Demonstrates a willingness to learn Possess a positive, good-natured attitude.
