The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras's Women, Infants and Children Program is looking to hire a Part-Time Registered Dietician who is friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic about helping others. Our Registered Dietician conducts high risk nutrition assessments, counseling, and follow up for our WIC participants in Amador and Calaveras counties. In addition, evaluates nutrition services for quality improvement, develop Nutrition Services Plan (NSP) to meet the needs of the local WIC agency and State WIC regulations. Part-Time Position: Three days week during our normal work week M-F, non-remote. Pay Range: $24.93 - $36.54 per hour, non-exempt Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or related equivalent from an ADA accredited college or university. Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD), credentialed by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics or eligible for registration (must have RD credential within six months of hire) Requires knowledge and skills in nutrition and adult learning education. Uses Learner Centered Education (LCE) approach with participants and trainings. Basic Microsoft Office skills. Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred. Special Requirements: Valid California driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance. Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as required by WIC.
