Description:

Orthopedic Center of Illinois is seeking several Patient Account Representatives to join our team! These motivated and multi-taskers will assume the day-to-day responsibility of ensuring that all patient accounts are accurate. This includes answering inbound patient phone calls, verifying insurance coverage, entering charges, and discussing billing and insurance information. The Patient Account Representative will also be responsible for collecting account balances from the patient or the insurance company as applicable. These individuals will be familiar with practice policies and subsequently, possess the ability to recognize, investigate, and follow-up claim payments that are insufficient. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements for this position include a High School Diploma. Previous insurance claims experience in a medical environment along with prior collection experience in a medical environment is preferred.
