TITLE : Adjunct Professor for Family Law QUALIFICATION S: Part-time adjunct instructor needed to develop and teach a semester-long Family Law course for Fall 2023. Must have a J.D. and at least 3 years of relevant practice experience. Academic teaching experience preferred. Must also be proficient in using technology (such as Zoom) and learning management systems (such as Blackboard), and have good organizational skills. Course topics will include separation and divorce proceedings, property division, spousal & child support, child custody & visitation, adoption and foster care, and family offenses. (eg. domestic violence, child protection). Course content will be delivered online in real-time and face-to-face. Because the Daemen Paralegal Studies program is ABA-approved, all adjunct faculty are required to attend regular semester meetings with the program director and participate in professional development for developing as an instructor (twice per year).
