A Day in the Life of: As a member of our team, you will report to the Project Manager. You will provide supervision and coordination of activities of janitorial workforce. This team member will maintain carpets and maintain premises of assigned off site facilities to ensure that customers receive a high quality of services that meet all contract requirements/standards. Responsibilities and Duties: Assigns tasks to employees Inspects completed work for conformance to standards and completes quality control inspection Issues supplies and equipment as needed Trains new employees Follow scheduled maintenance on carpets to keep them up to standards Works with Floor Techs assigned to the job to be sure that tasks meet quality standards according to the Quality Control Plan Monitors daily cleaning to be sure tasks are being performed as scheduled according to Quality Control Plan Consults with Project Manager/Floor Techs promptly of any foreseen problems Ensures all carpet cleaning equipment is properly maintained and required equipment maintenance schedules are followed Participates in meetings and trainings as required Requirements and Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Janitorial and supervisory experience preferred Valid driver's license Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work from a 6-foot ladder Must perform necessary computer tasks on current agency computer programs EO/AA Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories Drug-Free Workplace Reasonable Accommodations If you need reasonable accommodation when you apply for a position on our website, please contact us at (804) 358-XXXX and ask for human resources.
