The team of nearly 500 professionals is growing and looking for a Residential Program Manager to ensure the highest quality of services to the people in their homes. All program participants will have a clean, safe and well decorated home in which to live while participating in an active, creative and supportive home environment. All staff will be trained and supervised to provide services that place the individuals needs and safety first. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Supervisory Responsibilities: Coordinates relief coverage for the program. Maintains a pool of qualified relief staff. Orients and trains relief staff. Oversees staff scheduling in the absence of the Program Manager. Assist s the Program Manager in hiring, training and supervising staff, work-study and other student interns. Supervise s staff as assigned. Must maintain all certifications, and attend all CORE trainings, as required Clinical and Rehabilitation Skills Teaches daily living skills such as safety rules, travel-training, banking and budget management, cooking, shopping, personal care and hygiene and care of personal space and belongings. Administers medications and trains individuals in self‑medication procedures. Accompanies, follows up, communicates and documents individual needs for medical, dental and psychiatric appointments or issues. Provides leisure or community activities via public transportation, agency vehicle or staff car. Provides advocacy and case management services for the individuals, which includes contact with families, day program/vocational placements, medical care coordination and other service providers involved with the Team. Assists Individuals with housekeeping tasks such as cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen, common areas, bedrooms, yard work (including leaf and snow removal), closets, etc. Coordinates residential activities (shopping, chores, community memberships, classes, etc.). Program Management and Operations Provides skilled shift coverage, including weekends and awake overnights, as scheduled by the supervisor, Program Manager and/or Director. Assists the Program Manager in program management, development and initiation of program goals. Ensures proper implementation of clinical protocols in the absence of the Program Manager. Provides on-call coverage as assigned by Program Manager. Facilitates financial and budgetary procedures and responsibilities including petty cash, individual finances, and payroll in the absence of the Program Manager. Attends weekly house, staff and supervision meetings as required by the Program Manager and/or Director. Maintains accurate programmatic documentation such as fire drills, incident reports, daily logs, progress notes, teaching programs, medical documentation and follow up and any other documentation assigned by the Program Manager and/or Director. Performs other household maintenance and cleaning tasks which have been designated by shift responsibilities and as assigned by the Program Manager and/or Director. Assumes responsibility for the basic care of the agency vehicle. Mandatory Qualifications Potential candidates must have a valid MA or NH Driver's License. The ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain all required certifications. Candidates should also have completed their Bachelor's Degree is Psychology or a related field; 2 years of experience in the field will be considered in lieu of degree.
