Reports to work station and: Reviews the "Operator Instruction Sheet" and the trim sample for that job. If the "Operator Instruction Sheet" and/or the trim sample are not at the workstation,notify the supervisor immediately. Reviews molding machine performance with molding machine operator fromprevious shift and checks for good housekeeping in work area.2. Operates the molding machine per established procedures.3. Trims, inspects, and packs quality finished parts per the process documentation.4. Collects and records prescribed data at appropriate intervals on required paperwork and/or machine controllersystem. (where applicable).5. Places scrap and regrind material in designated area.6. Grinds all regrind material when needed.7. Reports excessive scrap or molding machine problems to the supervisor and technicians immediately.8. Maintains good cycle counts.9. Maintains good housekeeping in work area.10. Communicates problems or necessary information to oncoming molding machine operator.11. Completes all paperwork per established procedure.12. Operates machine controller system (where applicable).13. Performs other tasks assigned by designated supervisor. Qualifications a. Physically able to perform all tasks and functions involved in the job.
