RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for instruction of group and private diving lessons for all ages and abilities at the Aquatic Center. Maintains cleanliness of pool deck and equipment storage areas. Answers parent questions and provides information to participants about lesson requirements and programs. REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to swim. Must have basic knowledge of the four swimming strokes. Must be able to follow oral and written instructions and have excellent written and oral communication skills. Good organizational skills a plus. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Work is primarily done in an outdoor pool setting. Primarily scheduled Monday through Thursday, 9:15 am to 12:00 pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays, 7:30 pm to 8:15 pm; and Saturdays, 8:30 am to 10:00 am. Expected to work approximately 8-15 hours per week; varying work schedule. Application Deadline: Position is open until filled.
