Robotics Technician Huntsville, AL Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00/ hour Shift : 2nd Shift 3:15 PM- 12:45 AM Monday- Thursday Job Summary: Create, modify, teach, operate/ support robotic equipment function programs on SCARA, Six-Axis Robots, and related automated production systems. Primary Job Duties: Teach and Modify computer-controlled robot movements Train team members to use, or manipulate robots Maintain records of robotic equipment or automated production systems Document robotics test procedures and results Assist in the design, configuration, or application of robotic systems Align, fit, and adjust using hand tools, fixtures, templates, or microscopes Troubleshoot robotic systems, using knowledge of microprocessors, programmable controllers, mechanics, sensor or feedback systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics Install, program, or adjust programmable controllers, robot controllers, end-of-arm tools, or conveyors Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality Skills : Computers and Electronics : Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Engineering and Technology : Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services. Mechanical : Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Design : Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. English Language : Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar. Mathematics : Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications. Ability to, Create, Modify and Execute : Robotic Function Programs, perform file and Image back-ups, Execute Teach Pendant Operations, Understand World & Tool Coordinate System tools commands, Monitor I/O task managing, I/O commands, I/O label editing, understand basic Jog, Teach & go to statements. Familiar- With SCARA and Six axil Robotic Operations Co-ordinate- Set-up, Sort, and Que production jobs to appropriate Robots by scheduled due dates Language- Proficient in "Spel + Language for its use with Epson Robots Qualifications : Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degrees) Post-Secondary Certificate - awarded for training completed after high school (for example, in agriculture or natural resources, computer services, personal or culinary services, engineering technologies, healthcare, construction trades, mechanic and repair technologies, or precision production) This is a full-time position located in Huntsville, Alabama.
