POSITION OVERVIEW We are searching for an energetic, detail-oriented, and experienced Microsoft 365 (M365) Senior Software Engineer to join our IT Collaborative Services team. This position will l ead the technical architecture, design, and roadmap for M365 (SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive/Power Platform/Viva etc.) solutions and migration projects. The ideal candidate will deliver solutions enabling effective collaboration for NBME staff and external partners by proposing, advising, influencing, and developing best solutions/ practices that leverage the M365 platform to enhance productivity in a hybrid working environment.. Our mission is to deliver the best collaborative solutions with the right balance of state-of-the-art technologies and cost-effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, self-managed, team- and customer-oriented and committed to delivering results. This position has been designated as primarily remote which means it generally does not require onsite work more than an average of 2-3 times per month and may require additional prescheduled onsite work. We're open to considering candidates in the following states: PA, NJ, DE and MD. RESPONSIBILITIES L ead the technical architecture, design, and roadmap for M365 solutions (SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive/Power Platform/Viva etc.) Champion new M365 solutions and enhancements with business value by making the technical recommendations to business and IT stakeholders. Work closely with NBME internal staff/external partners and IT teams in delivering Microsoft 365/SharePoint/OneDrive related projects/tasks. Collaborate and communicate effectively with NBME IT teams (Platforms/Network/Security) in working with of Azure portal and AAD. Manage B2B/B2C M365 Licenses for external guests. Develop low-code solutions when necessary, using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/ Power Automate/ Power BI). Establish interactive feedback sessions with business customers to measure effectiveness of M365 solutions and opportunities for improvement. Assist in mentoring other team members in resolving technical issues and developing their technical skills. Assist in maintaining current Intranet and external SharePoint environments. Assist in developing in-house training documentation for NBME internal and external users. Responsible for troubleshooting any issues resulting in disruption of service to our end users. Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Skills and Abilities Proven strong analytical design and trouble-shooting skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal for technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to propose technology solutions tied to business need. Ability to commit, follow up, continuously learn, and improve, in both technical and soft skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team with an eye for attention to detail. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Experience Strong working experience and knowledge of M365(SharePoint Online/Teams/OneDrive/Power Platform/Viva etc.). Knowledge and Experience of working with M365 Licensing model(B2B/B2C) for external guests. Knowledge and Experience of working of Microsoft Azure Services (AAD). Experience delivering M365 (SharePoint/Teams/OneDrive) services for secure, external (guest) collaboration. Experience in working on medium/large scale migrations from on-premises systems to SharePoint online/OneDrive. Experience creating workflows and automate processes using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate/Power BI). Strong experience in requirements gathering, proposing, and developing best solutions using M365 solutions. Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
