Position Overview: The Site Merchandiser plays a pivotal role in supporting the development of our websites for the Stickley brand at www.stickley.com and Stickley Furniture | Mattress at www.shopstickley.com . Responsible for the overall merchandise strategy across a range of product categories, maintaining the sites catalogs, and for providing users with a digital experience on par with the brand's exceptional standard. The primary function of the Site Merchandiser will be to maintain the site catalog and execute e-merchandising. This role is full time in our Manlius, NY office and reports to the Director of Marketing. Key Responsibilities: Manage all pages across all websites, ensuring that all products are displayed effectively and categorized correctly. Focused on how pages convert and removing friction from user navigation, enabling the customer to find the relevant product quickly. Product expert, responsible for the accuracy of all aspects of product, including set up, pricing, categorization, ranking, and cross-sell recommendations. Improve existing product listings and point person to drive new product launches. Manage and execute all promotional activity on time. Carry out daily reviews across all websites, checking product information, categorization and placement is correct. Focused on calling attention to current offers and driving users to specific areas of the site. Site navigation, taxonomy, on-site search, and SEO efforts to provide best customer experience using analytics and best practices Provide ongoing research and generation of ideas via competitive analysis for best-in-class digital experience, including but not limited to site content, merchandising, and curated shop experience. Cross-functional collaboration and project management with Creative Services, Product, Web Development and Merchandising teams Optimize web conversion, through product availability, working closely with the Merchandising team. Using data captured, test and review online behavior which will drive performance. Monitor the market and fully understand trends, gaps and opportunities in order to optimize listings, increase traffic and improve conversion. Qualifications: Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role with hands-on experience at an eCommerce business. Previous experience with relevant tools like Shopify Plus and Google Analytics. Proficient computer skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel) and knowledge of software tools. Background in retail, retail furniture, or interior design a plus. Understanding of UX, web design, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey, traffic analysis, and reporting. Highly analytical with a bias toward data-centric solutions. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and juggle multiple projects at once while being organized and detail oriented Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to thrive in a matrix environment and build relationships with different stakeholders.
