WHAT YOU CAN DO FOR US AS A JR. COMPUTER ENGINEER This IT support position works from 7 or 8 am to 5 pm and is occasionally needed for after-hours work and a rotating on-call. For part-time employees, we will work around your class schedule. As a Jr. Computer Engineer, you play an invaluable role on our team. Your job is to keep our clients' systems running well and ensure that they are protected from cyber threats. Each day, you take our trademark proactive approach to IT support by detecting issues before they become problems. This is a much more enjoyable way to spend your day than being slammed with a long list of things that need to be fixed. As part of your tasks, you develop new processes and enhance security measures. You also upgrade existing networks and create new ones, carefully documenting everything as you go. WHAT WE NEED IN A JR. COMPUTER ENGINEER Experience with Active Directory (AD), application support, firewalls, documentation, Local Area Networks (LAN), and Wide Area Networks (WAN) Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, PowerShell, Windows Seve, SSL, VPN, TCP/IP, VLANs, and Windows 10 & 11 Experience with or the ability to learn the following: Android, AWS, Cisco, DFS/DFSR, DUO, MFA, Google G suite, iOS, IP Phone Systems, RMMs and PSAa , Linux Servers, MacOS, Microsoft Azure, RD Gateway, scripting, SonicWALL, SQL, Unifi, and VMWare Ability to troubleshoot problems, remediate viruses, manage wireless networks, and resolve other issues Residence within 30 minutes of the office is required for full-time employees Do you have excellent problem-solving abilities?
