Must have Valid Identification to work in the United States of America. Must have Valid/Current Food Handler Certification. Must have 2+ years experience as a cook in the restaurant industry. Hours may vary therefore must have flexible availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays. While performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods, walk, reach with arms and perform repetitive hand and wrist motions. The position also requires bending, twisting, and lifting up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Regularly required to handle food and hot beverages and use hazardous equipment. Company Overview: Hidden Mountain Brewery opened February 2021. We are a restaurant and brewery making small-batch beers rooted in tradition, but decidedly innovative. Our menu of New Mexican specialties and contemporary comfort food is made from scratch daily. Position Summary: The Cook prepares meals and follows established recipes. Duties include preparing and cooking ingredients, adhering to the menu and following food health and safety procedures. The Cook also cleans and assists other kitchen staff to deliver high quality food items in a fast-paced environment.
