"Bridging Innovation to Cure Developing and Manufacturing your cell therapies from benchtop to bedside" Summary Cellipont Bioservices is growing, and we are looking fo r a Leader in Business Development who believe in the potential bridging clients discoveries to patient cures and who want to challenge the status quo and take Cellipont and it's clients to the next level. The Leader of Business Development must be experienced and connected in the Cell and/or Gene Therapies sector to help drive both development and manufacturing revenue. The successful candidate will have a sales and technical background with a complete understanding of the Global market for Cell/Gene Therapy products, key players, cell types, clinical phase pipelines and therapeutic types as well as basic processes and challenges to make cell and gene modified cells at both clinical and commercial scale. The candidate should also have knowledge of the analytics used in cell therapy processes and be influential and impactful working with project management, quality operations, manufacturing teams and other critical support roles. The Role: Develop, strengthen, and leverage strong relationships at the C-suite level and into operations (development, manufacturing, outsourcing) in order to drive new business and expand existing accounts In this role, you will be a member of the leadership team and you will be a voice in helping to shape the direction of Cellipont as we grow Lead engagement with prospects and clients in defined territory to help drive both development and manufacturing revenue Track and trend all prospects and companies in the sector Generate meaningful reports on your territory with recommendations to positively impact results Achieve strong performance metrics for business development activities and communicate progress to management and team Create strong oral and written sales presentations that clearly define our value proposition and adapt to target audience effectively Participate in client meetings and serve as the voice for Cellipont capabilities Establish clear expectations for growth and accountability and achieve annual and quarterly sales targets Negotiate and facilitate execution of clear contracts that mutually benefit Cellipont and our clients Effectively manage sales and promotional budget Travel to US and EU conferences when needed and support the marketing team Travel to both Cellipont US manufacturing sites as needed Performs other duties as assigned The Candidate: Strong sales and technical background with a complete understanding of the Global market for Cell/Gene Therapy products, key players, cell types, clinical phase pipelines and therapeutic types as well as basic processes and challenges to make cell and gene modified cells at both clinical and commercial scale Strong knowledge of the analytics used in cell therapy processes Highly motivated self-starter with confidence and grit and a go-get attitude Strong business acumen Ability to think strategically and operate tactically Strong collaborator and facilitator with internal and external partners to define and execute to plan and achieve high returns Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to clearly communicate effectively Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong decision-making skills Proficient with Salesforce CRM, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite tools Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree is required, and a biology or science background is a plus 7 years in the Cell and/or Gene Therapies sector Strong track record of sales success required Experience in growing an organization is preferred Working in a fast-paced dynamic environment Ability to travel up to 25% Position Benefits Opportunities for career growth within an expanding team Defined career path and annual performance review & feedback process Cross-functional exposure to other areas of within the organization Robust benefit package designed for unique Health & Wellness needs, including coverage for your furry family members 401K strong employer match Tuition Reimbursement Employee Referral Bonuses Flexible work schedules based on role with 15 days of PTO annually, increasing 1 PTO day each year and paid holidays Gain experience in the cutting-edge cell therapy space "At Cellipont Bioservices, we look for candidates with an innate desire to serve.
