Seeking Class A CDL truck driver for Northeast regional run hauling dry van freight. No chaining is required, if the weather is not suitable for driving then we shut the truck down. We offer a minimum pay program in case of times like this so you will be assured a paycheck even when you don't get the miles you need for the week. Location: Springfield, MA Job Type: Experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver Pay: $1,400 per week on average Home Time: Your reset will be on the weekend for 2 days (48 hours or more) Equipment: New, well-maintained automatic trucks with sleeper cab Freight: Dry Goods, Dry Van trailer, a combination of drop and hook and live load/unload Experience: 6 months in 36 months or 1 year in 5 years. Benefits: Full benefit package Job Details Pay and home time: We offer our Class A CDL truck drivers plenty of home time with family. You will be home every weekend for 2 full days. We offer a minimum pay program in case of times like bad weather so you will be assured a paycheck even when you don't get the miles you need for the week. You will find our family atmosphere to be an excellent work environment with managers who will work with you on the time off you need to handle personal business. Pay is every Friday and you will average $1,400 per week based on experience and miles per week. Duties: As a Class A CDL Truck Driver you will be hauling dry goods with a dry van trailer. We do have some hazmat freight if you have or would like to contain your hazmat but hauling hazmat is not required. Be able to unhook trailers from the tractor, pushing, pulling and cranking levers to raise and lower landing gear. Check shipping papers to determine the nature of the load. Report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions. All of your freight is No Touch so you will never be asked to unload. You will be running a Northeast regional run which can include winter storms. No chaining is required, if the weather is not suitable for driving then we shut the truck down. The minimum guarantee we offer will guarantee you $1,300 per week in cases like this. Equipment Details : New, well-maintained automatic trucks with a sleeper cab. The trailer will be a 53-foot dry van. Fully equipped with all the bells and whistles. Tractors are no more than 3 years old and we regularly get new trucks to keep the fleet as new as possible. Application Procedure: The first step is a phone interview to determine if you qualify for the position, then you will be referred to the hiring manager to complete all paperwork needed. Once you have been officially offered the position we will set up a date for you to travel to our home office to complete the onboarding process.
