Maintenance Technician

Viterbo University invites applications for a Maintenance Technician. This position is responsible for maintaining campus buildings and equipment by performing preventative maintenance activities including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, locksmith, and carpentry. This position is a first shift position from 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday. This position is also required to participate on-call rotation for nights and weekends. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum seven years related work experience as a maintenance technician or locksmith required. Broad based knowledge of plumbing, electrical and HVAC practices and equipment required with knowledge of steam systems preferred. Specific knowledge of or training in locksmith techniques and technology required. Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record. Ability to operate bobcat, forklift and other motorized equipment. Must be able to meet physical demands of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crawling, climbing and twisting up to eight hours per day and able to lift 100 pounds. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Viterbo University is unable to sponsor or take over the sponsorship of the employment Visa.
