A Place 4 Me is not an actual place, but rather an idea that all young people ages 14 to 26 will have a place to call home, especially those experiencing housing instability or transitioning out of the child welfare or other systems. A Place 4 Me is an initiative that coordinates efforts to improve outcomes for young people by working in three areas: systems-change, direct service, and authentic youth engagement. A Place 4 Me is hosted by the YWCA of Greater Cleveland. The YWCA of Greater Cleveland is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. We are searching for a Youth Navigator. This role builds rapport with young people experiencing housing instability to help them meet their housing and related needs. The Youth Navigator assists young people in creating a plan for stability and supports them in accessing resources to achieve it. Qualifications: · Lived experience of homelessness and /or housing instability · Knowledge of and willingness to learn about resources for young adults · Good communication, time management and organizational skills · Experience with Microsoft Office Suite The YWCA is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to an inclusive and diverse workplace.
