We are currently looking for a Encapsulation Operator to join our Team! Job Summary: An Encapsulation Operator will be responsible for running and maintaining the machine while producing soft gel capsules, changing equipment, all cleaning involved, and perform gel and fill material changes during a run. The Encapsulation Operator will trouble shoot and correct problems as they arise during a run and must be able to comply with all Good Manufacturing Practices. Pay: Starting at $18.75 - Depending on Experience Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Life AD&D LTD 401k match 100 hours PTO Hours: Swing Shift - Monday-Thursday 4PM-2:30AM (must be able to train 3 to 4 weeks on day shift, Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM) Primary Responsibilities: Set up and inspect Encapsulation machine with proper equipment for the run. Trouble shoot equipment and eliminate capsule defects as needed. Clean equipment Gel and fill material changes. Always keep work area clean. Other duties as assigned. Knowledge and Skill Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted. Able to squat, kneel, bend, and climb stairs. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Self-directed working ability and the capability to work with minimal supervision while operating machine. Interpersonal skills to interact with other production staff. Must be detail oriented. Ability to trouble shoot as needed. Complete understanding of machine and manufacturing procedures. Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information in English. Ability to understand and perform basic arithmetic functions such as adding, subtracting, dividing, and multiplying. Education and Experience: High School or equivalent preferred. 3 years' experience as a machine operator or related job required. Five to seven years' experience as a machine operator preferred.
