Accounting Manager

Our business is thriving so we are now looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. This person will oversee all financial and managerial aspects of the business including retail operations, budget management, and HR functions such as payroll. Working collaboratively with our team, you will work to ensure our operations remain on track to hit our target goals. This critical role demands a result-oriented, effective leader with strong communication and analytical abilities. We are looking for someone who will bring a solutions-based approach and an extraordinary level of commitment to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment . The ideal candidate will be a strong cultural fit for the organization, and will enjoy working with a dynamic and collaborative team. Responsibilities: Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention Leadership and team development, coaching, assessment and employee engagement Develop and maintain 12 month rolling budget Oversee elements of retail operations such as budgeting, forecasting, purchasing, A/P & A/R Strategically evaluate and improve internal business processes & procedures Manage efficient payroll process Assist with management of fleet and facilities Oversee major equipment and machine purchases Create a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure Requirements: 5 + years of experience in financial planning/analysis in consumer goods or product business; food industry experience is a big plus Solid understanding of A/P & A/R Experience in a fast-paced business environment Excellent communication and personable skills Strong knowledge of US GAAP Proven knowledge of Quickbooks Online Experience with HR - organizational structure, coaching, mentoring, and training a plus Benefits: Ongoing Paid Training & Education Growth Opportunities Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits 401(k) with Employer Match Referral Bonus Program Employee Recognition Program Employee Discounts on All Products Paid Vacation Main Street Wholesale Meats is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
