Job description Warehouse Selector USA ToolsTampa, Florida 33610 Benefits: Pay: Pay frequency: weekly Dental Insurance Disability Insurance Health Insurance Life Insurance Paid Time Off Vision Insurance Reports To Warehouse Supervisor Warehouse associate job duties include, but are not limited to : Responsibilities: Reads customer order, shipping order, requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as type or product code. Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department. Marks materials with identifying information. Opens boxes, crates, and other containers. Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Weighs or counts items for distribution within warehouse to ensure conformance to company standards. Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications. Prepares parcels for mailing or shipping. Ensure housekeeping standards are met Comply with all applicable policies and procedures To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seniority Level: Entry Level Industry: Automotive Wholesale distribution Employment Type: Full-time PHYSICAL DEMANDS May also engage in excessive walking, frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling of parts and part containers Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature. Conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and rarely up to 70 and up to 100lbs with assistance. The employee is required to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods of time. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
