Position Summary: Adjunct instructor will teach math courses. Instructors are responsible for preparation and delivery of all course materials including the syllabus, lecture and other course delivery preparation, and keeping attendance records. Prerequisite Qualifications: A. Must possess a master's or Ph.D. degree in MathematicsB. At least 3 years of experience in teaching in a higher education setting. Duties, Tasks, Responsibilities (List as many categories as necessary): 1. Attendance at mandatory Adjunct Faculty Orientation.2. Preparation of syllabi and course materials.3. Verification of student attendance.4. Lecture preparation and instruction to include working within ACU polices on textbooks, copying budgets, copyright, forms and procedures.5. Meeting classes on all days and for the complete times indicated on the official ACU class schedule.6. Meeting with students during a regularly scheduled office hour each week.7. Student assessment and recording grades. Working Conditions: A. Requires the ability to read, write, see, hear, and speak clearly. Requires the ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time. May be required to lift an object weighing up to 20 pounds.
