Project Sales Representative Mechanical Systems Company LLC , a fully licensed Mechanical and Plumbing contractor who focuses on working with commercial and industrial customers, is looking for a candidate with the right mix of technical and interpersonal skills.We are currently looking for a Project Sales Representative who loves to engage with people and build customer relationships. This is a business growth opportunity, not to fill an existing position. The hired candidate will be required to generate sales in addition to and complementary to our existing sales.In this position, you will be meeting with property management teams, business owners, and decision-makers. You will need to figure out how to get past the gatekeepers to those decision-makers. You will be using tools to determine how long properties have had their systems and which you want to check in with for future opportunities. You will be developing relationships that will open doors for future business. It is a SLOW SALES CYCLE and requires exceptional relationship-building skills. If you have not worked in this type of position before it will be extremely challenging for you.This is not a job you get into for 2 -3 years before moving on. This position just begins to bear fruit at that time. Primary Job Function: To present the company to potential commercial customers and to qualify opportunities thereby obtaining HVAC project sales that are competitive and profitable. Accountable for all sales activities and customer relationships between the company and commercial/industrial clients. The primary requirements for this position are being able to build trusted relationships and can solve technical problems with clients. This position conducts cold calls to generate new business and works with our existing clients throughout the Mid-South. Work Hours: 40 + hours per week Pay Scale: Base plus commission. Estimated 1st-year earnings $60,000 - $100,000 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Paid Vacation & Holidays, Supplemental Insurance including Disability, Retirement Benefit, Company Laptop, Cell Phone & Tablet, Vehicle Allowance Required Qualifications: Prior sales experience, preferably B2B Valid driver's license and insurable driving record Must pass drug and background screens Knowledge of the HVAC & Plumbing industry is recommended but not required Basic computer proficiency, in Word, Outlook, and Excel Time and activity management skills Knowledge and experience in making cost estimates for commercial and residential construction projects is a huge plus B2B Sales, Commercial HVAC, Sales, Maintenence Sales, Service Sales, Commercial Sales
