Maintenance Technician

R-Dent Dental Laboratory, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Technician. This Technician will maintain the equipment, machines, and building where dental products like crowns and dentures are manufactured. Qualifications: Training or experience in machinery/equipment repair, maintenance, electrician, and/or HVAC. Ability to problem-solve and complete required tasks in required time frame with a positive attitude. Responsibilities: Repairing or scheduling repairs for machinery/equipment to ensure uninterrupted production levels in the dental lab; Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery (e.g. mills, ovens, 3D printers, suctions, and handpieces); Procuring and managing contracts for installation and repair of equipment (e.g. CADCAM, copiers, etc.) and communicating with outside vendors to troubleshoot issues; Maintaining the building, equipment, and grounds in a safe and clean manner; Cleaning equipment (e.g., suctions/filters) and ensuring cleaning contracts are followed; Using maintenance software to log maintenance and repair requests; Managing essential services such as building security, access control, cameras, utilities, communications infrastructure, and waste disposal/recycling. Compensation: Hourly (negotiable depending on experience and level of expertise) Hours: Part-time/full-time Monday-Friday (negotiable) Description: The Maintenance Technician is required to repair and maintain the building, machinery, and equipment to ensure safe, efficient manufacture of dental products. The Technician regularly investigates machines, equipment, and the building to determine if repair or maintenance is necessary, schedules routine maintenance on equipment/machines, and ensures equipment is functioning properly. The Technician promptly addresses any unexpected problems with the building or machinery, investigates proper parts or repair materials to order, and repairs machinery/equipment in the building as needed. The Technician coordinates repair or installation of equipment/machinery used to manufacture dental products with outside contractors. Technician handles security issues including cameras and alarms. Manager is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building, including ensuring that proper routine cleaning of the lab and its equipment is performed.
