LOCATION: Wild Horse Pass Corporate Center COMPENSATION: $18.72 - $26.63, DOE HOURS OF WORK: 40 hours per week, Full-Time FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt SUPERVISORY: No REPORTS TO: Facilities Manager POSITION SUMMARY: The Facilities Maintenance Engineer 2 is a hands-on position responsible for providing general maintenance work on all WHPDA business entities and other business's that may be assigned. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Act as a Roving Engineer handling all maintenance issues and performing preventative maintenance and repairs for all assigned businesses. Follow all Safety Policies as written in the Wild Horse Pass Development Safety Manual. Perform necessary general maintenance repairs and related duties for the WHPDA business portfolio, Motorsports, Rawhide and GRD properties. This includes Electrical troubleshooting and repairs from low voltage to three phase 480 volts, plumbing repairs, roofing, landscaping and asphalt patching, Fire Alarms, and other safety systems. Knowledge of HVAC systems, preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to component level as needed. Be able to respond to emergency situations during or after hours and be available for event setup and assist in the events as needed. Knowledge of all areas of maintenance to include HVAC, Electrical, Carpentry, Plumbing, mending fences, Fire Alarm, and other safety systems. Able to use basic equipment while ensuring safety and follow PPE requirements when using all gas-powered equipment and when performing landscaping clean-up duties requiring use of chain saws, weed eaters, trimmers, rakes, motorized hand trimmer and other hand/power tools. Prepare written material (e.g., Air Conditioners, heating units, exhaust, evacuation, or ventilation units), for the purpose of preventive maintenance, documenting activities and/or conveying information. Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars as required for the purpose of conveying or gathering information required to perform the job effectively. Support all HVAC and Electrical projects as required within the project development. Monitor and conduct water treatment testing and analysis of the water following all. environmental guidelines and ensure the River Pump house runs efficiently. Perform general maintenance work orders as needed for all building portfolios. Help support facility manager (GRD/RAWHIDE/WHPDA) inspection requests, repairs, troubleshooting, project completion or as needed. Perform daily property inspections throughout assigned portfolio. Safely maintain and operate all vehicles like club cars, lifts, trucks, and Toro carts used by maintenance. Able to pay attention to detail and maintain compliance with all safety guidelines and company policies set by the portfolio. Attend safety training and safety meetings to ensure safety best practices adherence. Participate in a monthly organization and cleaning day and properly store items in the maintenance shop, organize tools, racks, inventory of parts and supplies in all maintenance areas. Perform other duties, although not outlined, as directed by management. Key Qualifications-Education & Work Experience: Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a highs school diploma or GED. Must possess a valid AZ driver's license and provide proof of past driving record for thirty-nine (39) months from the Department of Motor Vehicles. GRIC driver's permit will be required, drive. certification needed to drive all community vehicles. Must pass pre-employment drug screen prior to assuming position. Must acknowledge and agree to maintain a drug-free workplace as a condition of employment. P.A. 608A certified, 'Universal' Technician Certification preferred. Minimum of three years related experience in construction and maintenance field. Must be able to use handheld power tools, multi-meter, miter saw and troubleshoot equipment as needed. Training in CPR and First Aid preferred. Willing to pursue continued education. Willing to test for and obtain licenses to drive heavy equipment in a fast-paced environment.
