Summary of the Position: The Business Intelligence Research Manager reports to the Director, Custom Research and is responsible for managing PMMI market research projects. Duties and Responsibilities : Must be able to create content based on primary and secondary research analysis . Provides quality control, proofreading and overall content review for market research projects. Manage PMMI's survey program which consists of member requested surveys and industry surveys. Contribute to the design, and execution of qualitative and quantitative primary market research projects to address key business issues relating to the packaging and processing industry. Assist in developing RFPs and vendor management in third party research projects. Manage evaluations for internal events and programs. Leads and advises members and colleagues through survey question development, survey validation and deployment. Works closely with the communications department to develop and execute e-mail campaigns for various surveys, market research studies and reports. Assist members with requests for statistical information by utilizing various data platforms, economic data websites and other packaging industry data resources. Qualifications and Education Requirements : College degree required. 5 years o f experience in a professional office environment; exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills . At least one year experience in a research or related field. Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must be able to work independently , and as part of a team . Must p ossess strong verbal and written communication skills, including good grammar and proofreading ability , experience with survey software and survey instrument design. Experience in a trade association and / or the packaging industry is a plus . This link leads to the machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and healthcare providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators, and application developers to access and analyze data more easily.
