Dynacast, LLC, a Form Technologies Company, is a leading global manufacturer of small, engineered precision components utilizing proprietary multi-slide die casting technology and tooling techniques. We currently have an opening for a CNC Programmer on first shift. Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm Pay: Starting at $30/hr. and up, based on experience Summary of Position: Produces molds & mold components by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine . Key Responsibilities: Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters, interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Operates 3D program using cam software, Mastercam, set-up and operate with a high degree of proficiency. Knowledge of mold making (plastic and/or die casting) necessary. Plans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock. Programs CNC's to cut all materials including carbon. Calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry. Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces, adhering to international standards. Work closely with engineering department, including design and manufacturing reviews. Maintains normal efficiency levels. Ensures that all equipment is functioning properly and safely or is deviated by the supervisor, using the Process Deviation Request Form. Responsible for following proper safety procedures and maintaining a clean CNC area. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the department supervisor or manager. Required Qualifications: Must work onsite. Proven experience with CNC machine operation, set up, and programming. Knowledge of CAM software. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment. Working knowledge of Blueprint reading, manufacturing methods, tooling, fixturing, and materials.
