Program IN-HOME BEHAVIORAL SERVICES (IHBS) under 21 years of age IHBS addresses a youth's behaviors that interfere with successful functioning in the community, and the services are delivered by one or more members of a team consisting of professional and paraprofessional staff via a combination of Behavior Management Therapy and Behavior Management Monitoring. Job Description The Behavior Management Therapist a master's level licensed mental health professional or behavior analyst who serves as the primary therapist and contact for all in-home clients. The Behavior Management Therapist develops treatment methodologies and ensures the effective implementation of all in-home treatment and programming for clients on their caseload. The Behavior Management Therapist is responsible for the management of Behavior Management Monitors and the content and implementation of the in-home treatment plans. The Behavior Management Therapist is responsible for adhering to professional and legal requirements and principles as well as demonstrating sound professional judgment at all times. The Behavior Management Therapist is responsible for ensuring that each client on their caseload receives at least the minimum standard of care according to program standards and principles of "good practice." Therapist Requirements: Initiate contact with new referrals and/or referral sources in a timely manner - at least according to program standard but no later than 48 hours after receipt. Attend regularly scheduled treatment team (CPT) meetings to communicate the client's progress with regard to specified target areas. Review and evaluate the performance of the Behavior Management Monitor. Ensure the proper implementation of the in-home treatment plan. Meet with the client's guardian(s) or other family members as needed to review overall progress and discuss changes to the treatment plan Meet with collateral service providers to coordinate care across all settings Provide direct supervision and feedback to the Behavior Management Monitor. Demonstrate implementation of treatment plan as needed. Develop treatment and behavior plans with measurable and attainable goals. Ensure that all treatment methodologies are evidence based and reflect the most recent research findings. Provide direct instruction and training to the client and family members during regularly scheduled home and community-based visits. M onitor roster for required action. Prepare and submit all required documentation for initial or renewal plans/authorizations in a timely manner. Write plans/reports as required. Complete treatment plan within twenty-eight days of initial face to face contact. Execute case openings according to program standards and guidelines. Submit new case documentation for filing within three days of initial contact (consent, releases of information, etc.). Obtain client/parent/guardian's signature treatment plan within seven days of completion. Visit in-home treatment clients according to program guidelines. Provide billing data to biller for individual clients and clients with unusual billing requirements. Execute disciplinary action against Behavior Management Monitor as required. Ensure that Behavior Management Monitor complete incident reports for significant incidents within 24 hours. Attend all referral source meetings as indicated. Interface with referral sources, clients, and families to provide program information as appropriate Schedule and attend all supervision as required with Clinical Director Ensure that supervision documentation occurs and is submitted for filing. Minimum Requirements of a Behavior Management Therapist: Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or closely related relevant field. Minimum of 3 years of experience.
