Come join Bridgeway! The Community Living Team Leader assists in the day-to-day operations of the residences which provide supervised and supported living opportunities for persons with disabilities. This role is under the direction of the Community Housing Coordinator. We would love for you to apply and bring your ability to understand the emotional and social needs of persons with intellectual and/or developmental disability; ability to understand the concepts of normalization and individualization; ability to interact effectively with adults with intellectual and/or developmental disability; good planning and organizational skills; good interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written. To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties and qualifications below: Assists with the orientation and training of new community living staff. Assists with consumer community provider appointments. Assists with menu planning and grocery shopping. Assists with the regular monitoring and reconciliation of link cards and consumer in-house funds. Helps ensure quality skill development/training and rehabilitation opportunities for persons residing in Bridgeway residences. Our minimum requirements include reliable transportation, valid driver license, proof of insurance and good driving record. Must obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification after hired. Must successfully complete DSP training and other trainings as assign. If licensed, required to maintain license requirements.
