Production Manager This position contributes to the success of manufacturing and warehousing by leading and directing the production team to meet production demands while achieving standards related to cost, efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity. The Production Manager is responsible for implementing departmental objectives through achievable tasks at the execution level. This individual is responsible for managing multiple shifts. Additionally, this role is responsible for developing, implementing and executing Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives, while taking the time to develop his Team to achieve performance standards that will meet/exceed Customer expectations. Responsibilities Applies knowledge of processes, equipment and system capability to set individual and facility standards Coaches and develops Supervisors to achieve performance standards with regards to safety, line efficiency, quality and productivity. Manages direct and indirect controllable costs to meet overall cost target. Tracks key performance indicators to achieve production targets. Oversees facility equipment efficiency and reliability to minimize downtime. Ensures compliance with all Environmental, Health & Safety regulations Lead and Promote Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business or related field. At least 4-6 years related experience At least 2-4 years of supervisory experience Previous experience in quality, safety, maintenance, and production and warehousing. Lean manufacturing experience.
