Join Community Services Group (CSG) , a Certified B Corporation, as a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Associate for our Workabilities Clubhouse and Housing Support Program in Sunbury, PA and find meaning in your work every day.This Full-Time (40 hrs./wk.) position offers a starting pay of $17.35/hr. ($36,088/yr.) . Typical hours are Monday to Friday - 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM , with occasional evening, weekend and holiday hours.This is a great opportunity for a May/December 2023 or recent college graduate with a degree in human services to start their career or an experienced professional looking for a new challenge! Hiring immediately for this position. About the programs: The Workabilities Clubhouse is organized to support people living with mental illness. During the course of their participation in a Clubhouse, members gain access to opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, employment and education, and to the services and support they may individually need to continue their recovery. A Clubhouse provides a restorative environment for people whose lives have been disrupted because of their mental illness, and who need the support of others who are in recovery and who believe that mental illness is treatable. Workabilities Housing Support Program has apartments within a few blocks of the Clubhouse in Sunbury. It assists members with independent living skills, which include but are not limited to housekeeping, budgeting, laundry, grocery shopping and learning the community in order to expand their social interactions with others, develop hobbies, etc. Testimonials from our Clubhouse Team: "The greatest reward of this job is the difference we get to make in the lives of others. About the opportunity: As a Clubhouse Rehabilitation Associate , you work closely with the members and other staff to assist in the operation of all functions of a Clubhouse International standard-based clubhouse. You will work with individuals on goals in the life domains of independent living, employment, education, social skills and overall physical and mental wellness. You will also: Function as a responsible staff person with clubhouse members and another staff person in assigned work unit. Complete case administrator duties as assigned: which includes development of rehabilitation plans, reviews, and to complete progress notes. Participate in job development and community employment activities to assist members in returning to competitive employment. Represent the clubhouse as a liaison with other programs of Community Services Group, community organizations, and funding sources. Be willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment. Have a commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion. Assist members who are tenets at the Housing Support Program with independent living skills. Qualifications: Must have one of the following: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with academic concentration in an area relevant to the position, preferred but not required; OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university and one-year work experience in mental health direct service; OR Certified Peer Specialist (CPS) certificate and one additional year paid or volunteer work experience in mental health direct service; OR High School Diploma or equivalency and 2 years work experience in human services which must include 1 year of mental illness direct care experience. May/December college graduates are welcome to apply. Must have all of the following: Able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs. A valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments. Able to travel to trainings/meetings upon request of program director or designee which may include occasional overnight stays. Ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
