The Resource Connection is looking for a candidate that enjoys variety in their day, has a passion for supporting parents from diverse socio-economic backgrounds as the primary educator of their child, and possesses the ability to organize and schedule home visits to meet the needs of the families enrolled. Must have skills to work independently with minimal supervision. The ability to see strength in all situations with a non-judgmental lens is required. The successful candidate will work closely with Health and Human Services and the Community in recruiting and enrolling qualifying families for the Early Childhood Programs. The Early Childhood Programs Home Visitor engages families by supporting parents of children zero to five in promoting positive growth and development using the home as the primary learning environment. The Home Visitor utilizes screening and assessment tools and engages with families in recognizing and setting goals, identifying strategies to meet the goals of individual children and the family unit, empowering them to obtain the resources they need to lead healthy lives. Our Team of Home Visitors work together in planning and presenting three group socializations each month to facilitate social opportunities for both parents and children enrolled in the Home Visiting programs. This position offers professional growth and development opportunities. An agency cell phone and vehicle provided for serving families throughout Calaveras County Regular Full Time Position: Monday - Friday 32 hours per week/ Non-remote Pay Range: $ 15.80 - $ 17.00 Benefits: We offer a comprehensive benefit package. - Health insurance at a cost of $75.00 a month for employee only coverage, 13 paid holidays, sick and vacation time, an Employee Assistance Plan & Life Insurance. You may elect a 401(k), Dental, Vision or Aflac Plan after meeting eligibility requirements. Requirements : High School Diploma or equivalent required Preferred AA degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field Required 12 Units in Early Child Education (including core courses) or related field or CDA 3 Units related to infant/toddler development preferred Minimum of 1 to 3 years' experience working with families and children Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred Current CPR and First Aid (including infant/toddler) Special Requirements: Valid California Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage Health Screening, proof of current negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot, prior to hire Must certified in Pediatric First Aid, CPR and have California Health and Safety Certificate Willingness and ability to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as company business requires For Application or additional information on job opportunities: www.trcac.org APPLY TODAY!
