Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Head of Financial Systems Services & Systems Compliance, the SAP Senior Analyst is responsible for supporting large project activities that grow the development of Airbus in the Americas. In this role, he or she leads the different initiatives related to SAP systems improvements and transformations for the FAL in Mobile, AL, to include Systems, Processes and integration standards as well as Change Management. He or she is accountable for the different integration projects by leading the Finance workstreams, ensuring that Finance requirements are always implemented. The SAP Senior Analyst is in charge of a global project portfolio and ensures the full lifecycle of projects by supporting the Airbus project management methodology under the responsibility of the SAP Senior project manager. You will be responsible for delivering the systems solutions through to entry into service. In this role, the SAP Senior Analyst will interact with all the Airbus Functions including Procurement, Information Management, Customer Services, Logistic, Production and Human-Resources. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Project Support (40%): Responsible for supporting SAP solutions and projects collaborating with multiple sub-function teams that are involved in the analysis, development, customization and implementation of SAP applications. Collaborate with project sponsors and stakeholders to establish scope, cost, schedule, quality, deliverables to deliver a new or modified business capability through the execution of an SAP project. Ensure projects are completed within committed time and budget requirements and are integrated with other applications. Provide guidance for SAP implementation methodologies and supports policies, standards and procedures to continue new innovative development strategies and ideas. Will use their strong SAP Portfolio experience to deliver various large scale Enterprise value initiatives. 2. SAP operational activities (35%) : Will be the internal contact for SAP solutions for diverse teams and internal clients including but not limited to business managers, directors, and executive Staff in a professional demeanor. Responsible for strong relationships as the external contact with SAP, strategic partners and suppliers. Proven ability to understand the impact of technical changes, and to articulate high level technical solutions to address business problems. Understanding of custom software development processes and engagement methodologies. Responsible for writing and presenting executive reports using strong verbal, written and presentation skills Advocate for change management with an empathy for relationships and positions. Will support the month end close 3. Expertise on complex integration activities (20%) : Will serve as support contact for existing applications and will provide expertise to any necessary change requests or improvements. The resource will also manage some Reporting and dashboarding activities requiring complex data management. 4. Other tasks as requested (5%) : Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education: Required : Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Preferred : Information Systems or related field of study Experience: Required : 5-8 years Licensure/Certifications: Required : SAP certification in FI/CO or MM or PP Preferred : Project Management certification Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Analytical abilities and are capable of synthesizing and prioritizing a large volume of information. You are a progressive thinker with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects/tasks from inception to completion in a changing environment Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business needs into human capital strategies, programs and initiatives Demonstrated ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization and across multiple sites Proven proponent of technology and utilizing data to drive decision making Demonstrated ability to drive culture and serve as a change agent Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages): Fluent English Additional Languages appreciated (German, Spanish and French etc.) Technical Systems Proficiency: SAP ERP and related systems (BW, SAC) Tableau, Alteryx Travel Required: 15% Domestic and International Eligibility: Eligible for employment in US. Decision Making, Complexity: Take ownership and responsibilities on complex projects related to Finance and Systems such as ERP improvement, implementation of modules, new interfaces. Bring new ideas of improvements to increase efficiency and compliance within the organization Job Dimensions, Contributions to Success: Most of the improvement projects have a significant impact on savings and cost avoidance of the organization up to $5 million including increase in efficiency, workload reduction and Compliance Physical Requirements: Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions Hearing: able to hear sufficiently to engage in conversation in office settings Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals. Speaking: able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification. Equipment Operation Able to operate a wide range of personal and office electronic equipment. Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg which engaging in training, addressing production issues or as part of continuous improvement projects. Lifting: able to occasionally lift up to 20lbs/9kg. Pushing/Pulling: able to push/pull items in office areas. Sitting: able to sit for extended periods of time at computer and in meetings. Squatting/Kneeling: able to occasionally squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items shelved on bottom shelves. Standing: able to stand for extended periods of time. Travel: able to travel overseas and domestically sometimes for extended periods of time. Working outside hangers in changing locations. Walking: able to walk through office and production areas, around flight line and airstrips and sometimes on uneven indoor and/or outdoor surfaces.
