General Manager - Clossman GA Foods/Clossman Catering is hiring a General Manager to oversee our Clossman, OH location. We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is highly skilled in customer and employee relationship management. Lifting up your team by embracing the company's values, vision, and mission as One Team is an essential trait of the General Manager. This position reports out of our VP of Logistics. General Purpose of the General Manager The General Manager will direct and oversee all aspects of Clossman Unit production and distribution operations, including remote food distribution, with full P&L responsibility regarding to quality, cost, service, and people, to ensure excellent service levels to our customers. Ensure timely food packing and distribution in the most cost-efficient and effective manner meeting all food safety, quality, and quantity standards. Maintain costs within established budgetary guidelines. Establish and maintain Customer Relationship Management with contracting Agencies and customers. Maintain complete facility and fleet maintenance operations. Supervise direct reports, including training and development, and ensure employee safety. Manage planning, budget analysis and reporting for the region. Essential Duties Including, but not limited to: Provide direction and support to multiple daily food packing operations Hire, mentor and train direct reports Perform necessary recordkeeping and other reports as required Oversee with route development to meet growth and efficiency models Manage and oversee remote retherm/distribution operations as assigned Ensure that food safety, sanitation guidelines, and other compliance/regulatory requirements are maintained and appropriate temperature controls Ensure DOT compliance; Ensure labor productivity and other standards are met Troubleshoot customer and program issues pertaining to menu and performance, including coordination with RD Attend customer menu meetings and in-service along with other daily customer interactions Oversee purchasing, inventory control, food supplies ordering and preparation, sanitation and quality assurance, food and employee safety, facilities and grounds maintenance Strong strategic thinking skills, with an emphasis on delivering measurable action plans Proactive and positive, acts professionally with a diverse group of associates, peers, managers, suppliers, client and customers Embraces excellence in customer service, internally and externally Ensures consistent and fair administration of personnel policies Other duties assigned by management Degrees & Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Culinary Arts/Food Service Management or other related degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education/experience Certified Professional Food Manager a plus HACCP Certification a plus Valid OH Driver's License Skills & Experience P&L Management/Financial Acumen Proven Experience - Required Customer Relations Management and Sales Development Experiences - Required Proven 5+ years of Upper-level Food Service Management and Distribution experience, institutional - preferred MRP/ERP systems Strong Management Skills Self - Motivator Team Building and People Management/Development Skills Familiar with Routing, Distribution and Warehousing; Labor and Cost Management Strong Leadership and Communication Skills Ability to Think Quickly and Accurately Able to Evaluate Problems and make Appropriate Recommendations/Solutions Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
