Registered Nurse – ECT

The ECT RN is an essential member of the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Institute health care team who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and coordinating the total care of ECT patients. The ECT RN assists in providing pre-op, procedure and recovery functions for patients receiving ECT treatment. Through collaboration with all members of the patient care team, the ECT RN is self-directed, empowered and accountable for the direct supervision of all team members delivering care to assigned patients. Graduate of a professional School of Nursing with current Pennsylvania licensure. Able to verbalize understanding of the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation. Has knowledge and understanding of physical and emotional disease processes, clinical nursing skills, and administration of medications. ACLS and previous PACU, Recovery Room, ICU experience required. Basic computer skills required . Full-time, Part-time and PRN shift positions available. $10,000 sign on bonus for Full-time positions.
