Stark Equipment is seeking a highly motivated candidate who thrives on working in a fast-paced, deadline driven, customer focused work environment to join our growing team! The Customer/ Service Coordinator is the essential steward in providing the safe, efficient, and responsive scheduling/dispatching of service technicians for both routine preventative maintenance as well as both regular and emergency service calls. If you have the ability to provide this type of support, we want to talk to you. Are you the ideal candidate? The ideal candidate must have the ability to coordinate multiple Service Teams with independent disciplines while blending the appropriate amount of commercial/customer focus with the necessary technical/specification knowledge needed to handle a wide variety of equipment over large geographic territories. The Customer/ Service Coordinator will optimize Technician utilization and response efficiency within the territories their Service Teams cover. As the service call point of contact, their ability to place the correct technician on a specific work order will be key, however they will also be required to pivot and reprioritize those orders based on urgency, weather conditions, parts availability, etc. The Customer/ Service Coordinator will also review completed service orders to determine whether follow up service is needed and schedule it accordingly. They will not only support existing clients with their needs but will also be in integral part of growing sales by speaking with perspective clients about their requirements, and then notifying the account management team to facilitate further discussion of services. How will you be successful in this role? Apart from the overall scope of the role listed above, this role requires a high level of organization, diligent time management, efficient communication skills and a strong customer focus. You must also have the technical wherewithal to be able to review dispatched subcontractor invoices against the original scope/quote to ensure budgeted compliance. What we would love to see: HS Diploma (required) / Associate Degree (preferred). 2 years' experience in Parts and/or Service field (preferred). Prior experience in the industrial HVAC or power generator service industry a plus. Mechanical aptitude a plus. Be highly motivated and an independent thinker. Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld devices, such as Smartphones, iPads, etc. Who are we?
