Dapper & Dashing is disrupting the time-tested formalwear retail space and looking for a Maintenance Technician who is passionate about delivering quality work in an agile environment and keeping our production facility running smoothly so we can continue curating our customers' most important memories. POSITION OBJECTIVE: This position performs a variety of duties in and around the facility and help other workers in completing their tasks; repairs and maintains laundry equipment, boilers, plumbing, and other machinery & equipment in the facility. You will... Repair and maintain all material handling equipment and dock equipment (i.e., doors, levelers, seals, etc.). Maintain & repair upright boilers, black iron pipe/steam fitting/traps/check valves. Repair of pneumatic laundry equipment/diagrams. Understand electrical/schematic diagrams. Maintain copper fitting-water, air, and vacuum lines. Repair and maintain HVAC systems, lighting systems, electrical systems, and plumbing. Repair, install, and maintain racking. Maintain fire suppression systems and fire alarms. Perform repairs as needed. Perform exterior maintenance as needed. Ensure all maintenance tools are in good working condition and stored neatly and securely. Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner. You have... Must have an overall "handyman" skill set. Industry specific knowledge is a plus (dry cleaning & clothing presser equipment). Previous facility maintenance experience required. Must have good trouble shooting ability and problem-solving skills. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to administer and respond to service requests via radio. Must be punctual, reliable, and work well under pressure. Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
