Schuyler Hospital is seeking a devoted Full Time Medical Laboratory Technologist. The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform and analyze blood and body fluid promptly and accurately to improve patient outcomes. They achieve this by operating sophisticated laboratory equipment and computerized instrumentation. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or related field Experience: Medical Laboratory Technologist experience preferred Licensure: New York State licensure required Physical Requirements: Repetitive use of hands and fingers (e.g., use of computer keyboard); may require lifting and carrying light loads (up to 40 lbs.), including boxes, equipment, blood culture bottles, and computer labels and stooping and kneeling (e.g., to pick up items from the floor, to remove and replace items on lower shelves, and to file documents in lower file drawers); sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time (4-8 hours) is often necessary; must be able physically to operate the equipment used for the job. Schuyler Hospital is offering a $5,000.00 sign on bonus and $25,000 tuition reimbursement Note: Per NYS regulations, all staff working in the Hospital or Seneca View must be vaccinated for COVID-19.
