Position Summary The Accounting Specialist (AS) manages all aspects of his/her assigned projects under the direction of the Assistant Controller or designee. The AS operates under a certain degree of autonomy using the resources allocated to them to provide top quality service to the client, both internal and external. Key Responsibilities: 1. Gather necessary information for customer billing a. Review and attach pertinent documents to each invoice in Business Central b. Verify the accuracy of the information among several sources including but not limited to sales orders, google docs, and emails. 2. Customer Invoicing a. Print invoices as PDF files, combine files in adobe, verify accuracy and send to customer b. Revise or rebill loads as noted or requested by the OPS team and resend to customers. 3. Process Terminal Shipments a. Download and organize load BOLs and other documents pertaining to loads/shipments from the terminals. b. Communicate regularly with the OPS team or terminal manager regarding discrepancies with loads.
