The Wound Nurse, under the supervision of the Director of Nursing works with the nursing staff assessing, treating, and creating care plans for patients with complex wound conditions. Assist nursing, rehabilitation, and medical staff to maintain knowledge and competence in wound care. Collect, analyze and document information and statistics related to wounds in the facility, as well as perform clinical evaluations. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidates will have the following: Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in S.C. (Required) Experience as a Wound Nurse Wound care certification (preferred) Experience in LTC facility (required) Current CPR certification Experience with PCC preferred Must maintain all required continuing education/ licensing and remain in good standing with the SC State Board of Nursing.
