Title: Independent Living - Resident Care Assistant (RCA) Status: Part Time Shift: Evenings 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm ( Every other weekend and every other Friday and Monday) Requirements for Resident Care Assistant (RCA): Consistently model and demonstrate excellence in customer service, with a constant focus on person-centered care/service delivery. Delivers non-direct care tasks as described on each resident's plan and as directed per standards. Maintains the residents' room in a tidy, orderly condition with respect to residents' individual rights and preferences. Assists with taking meal orders and serving meals as needed. Provide medication reminders. Carry keys, cell phone, and pager and respond to resident calls as needed. Provide denture reminders. Performs walking around and safety checks on all residents. Cleaning and security duties as assigned by shift. Provides meal reminders. Assists with working at the Reception Desk to relieve Recoptioniost for their breaks. Stand by assist supervision for showers as indicated. Laundry (Residents' personal and linens and towels as indicated.) Change bed sheets, make bed as indicated. Completes all tasks as directed. Reports any unusual occurrences (incidents), signs, symptoms, complaints or observations of the resident to the Director of Independent Living. Documents as required per facility policy: including, but not limited to: * Resident's non-direct care delivery. Reports any allegation of abuse, neglect, exploitation or misappropriation per facility policy. Follows the policies and procedures of the facility. Assist with the orientation of new employees as directed. Attends staff meetings as directed. Performs other tasks as assigned. Why choose a career with Baptist Life Communities?
