The Holgate Center is hiring Housekeepers! We are in southeast Portland on Holgate Boulevard across from Kenilworth Park. Along with our companion Retirement Center Facility and our low-income senior-focused Apartment complex, our Holgate Community has been providing a continuum of care for well over one hundred years. We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team! PAY RATE $16.20 - $19.00 per hour SCHEDULE Full-Time Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed and Thur. 8:00PM - 4:00PM Part-Time Sat and Sun. 8:00PM - 4:00PM BENEFITS 403(b) with Employer Match Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Disability Insurance Employee Assistance Program Flexible Schedule Flexible Spending Account Free Parking Life Insurance Generous Paid Vacation and Sick Time Package Referral Bonus Program Part-time Employees 403(b) with Employer Match (20+ hours weekly) Free Parking Reduced Fare Bus Pass Flexible Schedule Paid Vacation Time Paid Sick Time ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Efficiently sanitize, polish, and clean assigned areas Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as necessary Ensure that work and cleaning schedules are followed in a timely manner Follow established safety and cleaning policies and procedures Mix, properly use, and dispose of cleaning chemicals Discard trash, medical waste, and recycling Use a dry mop, wet mop, broom, or vacuum to clean floors, routinely and when incidents occur This list is not all-inclusive but is provided to give a brief overview of typical job requirements. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, walk, and bend for prolonged periods Communicate effectively, and follow verbal or written instructions Resolves problems & works cooperatively with others in a professional manner Shows willingness to accept changes; adaptable and flexible We offer a nice work environment, great co-workers, and a place to call home during your working hours!!
